Evaluation of my EVS

Evaluation of my EVS. Yea, I don`t want to write last day of my EVS< cause I don`t like this sentence, ebaluation is better  on 30 of November was the final evaluation of my EVS,to be honestly, I can`t say that I was worrying that my EVS has finished or smth like that, I think, just I can`t realize yet, but for now it`s good that I didn1t worry 
I prepared YIA program presentation to tell people more generally about it and also I had prepared about my EVS po polsku  I had very nice guests, my mentor, as always with me :), people from my room, some my friends from office, the president of our organization and also I was very happy when I saw youth, whith whom I was working during my EVS, I was teaching them English and work with them gave me a big experience :)
I told them everything what I wanted to tell, especially thank u every of them, because they are the part of my EVS, they are people that I`m surrounded by and I feel so warm and friendly atmosphere because of them. It`s really strange, I remember the day when I came in Poland like yesterday and now it`s finished already, these beautiful and great days in my life, yea I`m happy that I say that my EVS is great and colourful :)
In Poland it`s snowing already and I can`t believe that I live here with -20 degrees, with this crazy freezing weather, but still if I had a chance to stay here in this crazy weather, I would stay for sure :)

Very important part of my EVS-health!

It`s a little bit funny, but there is one more very important part of my EVS-my teeth :)
I was searching for really a good doctor in whole Gdansk, cause I am really panic when I see doctors, so I needed really gentle one :) I found it at last.
I was on doctor and it discovered that I have to repair 8 teeth, it seemed so much! But my doctor is so cool doctor, he is really professional one and I trust him, so we begin to made my teeth. Even I don`t have to pay first, my doctor will wait for my insurance and get money later, so I`m so happy that I will have more healthy teeth now :)

Meeting with polish volunteers from "Flandria Gdynia"

This time, that I have been in Poland, mostly I have relationships with EVS volunteers, and now there was a posibility to meet with Polish volunteers, who are volunteering in their countries and helping local people. So me and my dear mentor went their, met with these volunteers, the meeting was very interesting, I made presentation about YIA programm and then about my EVS, my experience in Poland, what I have learnt, what I like and don`t like, if I had cultural shock and how I survived it, what I would change if I had a chance etc...
Some of these volunteers were thinking about to do EVS, but they didn`t have enough info before, so I was opened to answer thei questions and make more undrestandable what EVS is generally and about it`s good and not only good sides :)
I think that it`svery important, before you do EVS, you should have information about it, to get ready somehow for everything, cultural shock, work there and everything. So for these volunteers this meeting was first informational meeting and then of course they could get more info from different fields if they were interested and I hope it was like that :)

"Khinkali" in Kwidzyn :)

When I told my Mam that I`m making "Khinkali" so often in Poland, she didn`t believe, cause she doesn`t remember really I cooked smth in Georgia, and here I cook all the time "Khinkali" :)) But it`s pleasure for me to make georgian meal for Polish people :)
This time we had lesson how to cook "Khinkali", for about 25 children, first I told them how to made it, also teacher helped me, because she had read before about "Khinkali", so theoritically she knew smth about it :)
So, we begin to made it, first we made dough from water and flour, then mixed the meat, onion, greens and papper and I showed them how to make the form of "Khinkali", they were very much interested in it, it was vey funny, that everyone was trying to made good one, but actually they were very good, even boys were making it very good, they hepled me a lot to make dough too and then the forms of "Khinkali" :) they were so good that then I decided to learn them another form which we do sometimes with "Khinkali", it is called "patara gochi"-it`s in Georgian, in English it will be-"small piglet", and po Polsku-"mała swinia", but really I have no idea why it is called like this, but anyway we made "patara gochi" too and I guess they liked a lot this too :)) all of them were trying to made good form and I was so much happy too to watch them and realize that I can make them happy and they are learning to make Georgian meal, I`m sure they will never forget it :)So, this day was very funny and good, Kasia, my Polish friend, liked it so much too, that then she made it at home, and I was really happy, she helped me a lot to feel good in Kwidzyn and also I told that she will be so good women in Georgia, because she knows already how to made good "Khinkali" :)

Kwidzyn

Visit to Kwidzyn discovered so much interested and funny for me :) actually every my visit to other Hufiec-es is full of positive impressions :) I knew that my tasks were to make some english learning workshops and presentation of Georgia, my home country. Kwidzyn was quite small and cute city, everything was so much close tu each other and people, the same,my lovely polish people, so warm and hospitality :)
First we went to the OHP office, Pan Roman, the boss and all the ofiice staff were so much friendly to me :)
First day they show me the place where I lived and in the same building I made English learning workshop for some youth, and talked a little bit about Georgia, and actually they were a lot interested about Georgia and asked me a lot of questions, and every time, when I see and feel it, i`m so proud that present my country and give information about if for people who doesn`t know even that it exicts :) Then also we played some funny games :) For the evening I was a little bit tired, so I went to sleep :)

Yea, actually after visiting Nowy dwor, I was so much excited... Just I was thinking a lot, maybe for someone it doesn`t seems very important, bu for me it was really very important, I was there for 5 days, I was with people, with children, who actually didn`t have idea about Georgia, they only have heard about it, and after my visit there, everyone knew, the children were saying that they would tell ther claasmates, and friends to come and watch these resentations too, and I saw that they were so satisfied, and now I`m so happy, that can make people even a little bit happy, can present my country and feel pride, yea, I`m really proud, that I`m talking about my country, my people, Georgia is really little, and Georgians aren`t very much, but we all love each other and we are really warm, nice and hospitality people, I love my country and my people :) So, welcome everybody, u will feel Georgian soul only when u visit Georgia :)

Khinkali in Nowy Dwor :)

The day before I left from Nowy dwor, we made Khinkali in Hufiec :) They were very much interested to make some Georgian meal, so we did it, and it was really very funny while we were making it. Me, children and their parents have done really good Khinkali :) first we made dough from flour and water, then put together meat, onion, greens, and georgian spices and I just showed once how to made the form of Khinkali and almost everyone could do it very good, I was really suprised, because actually it`s not very easy to do :)
Last day, after my excursion, we came to this hufiec again with children to taste khinkali and some sweets, but I found there a lot of surprises, they had made for me żurek, my favourite polish soup, and in the beggining they told big thank you and gave me very very sweety toy bear and paper with sign of everyone from this hufiec, I really didn`t expect it, and was full of expresions, these people are so sweet, so warm, I don`t know, It was really beautiful days during my EVS and I want to thank again to all of them, I`ll never forget them :)
Then we played football, it was very funny, because actually in my childhood I liked to play football, but now about 6-7 years I haven`t touched the ball and I played with really strong members, we had girls and boys group, and unfortunately me team was looser, but it was so funny and nice to play with them that noone cared it really :)
Now I have feeling that I know these people for a long time, not only 5 days, and I really wish to stay there more, maybe I come back there again for some days, I don`t know, but I`d love to :)

Excursion arround Nowy Dwor

Last day I saw a lot of interesting things arround Nowy Dwor, Thanks for Arek and Eva I saw really historical and important muzeum from second world war, which I didn`t know before so concrete. So, we were in Stutthof, I saw there original things from second world war, part of shoes, and clothes what people were wearing during working there, and there were some little shoes that little children were wearing, and very dangerous place, where dead people were burnt... It was reallity and really terrible...
After we went to very beatiful place, it was one of the biggest river Visva, we took a lot of pictures and after we went to eat smth :) I really enjoyed the meal and actually the name was "kurczak tako" and I rememmered it very good because Tako isn`t a good word in Georgian :)) but Polish tako was really tasty :))

Nowy Dwór

The second visit was na Swietlicu, there were more little children, really very sweety and funny, I had prepared some funny games and English learning workshops for them to learn a little bit English and play in the same time, and actually I was talking in Polish all the time, yea, they were really little and didn`t know English and of course I wanted to talk understandable for them without translator, so we began to play and learn in the same time, I think they liked the way of my teaching and enjoyed, we made animal annimation game, in the papers there was written the names of animals in English and in polish too, and a person should take it without showing noone and made a sound like that animal, and the others could guess and say the name of this animal only in English, on the paper they had these names in English, so we had a fun and learnt the names of animals :)
Also we played some name games, and games for rememmering numbers in English, and I really enjoyed too play with them and have time with them, time after time I realize more how much I like to work with children and it`s really good :)

Nowy Dwor

On 27 of september, I woke up and it was so much raining, really polish weather, cold, rain, wind... I don`t want to think that winter has already started :( But anyway I was going to Nowy Dwor this day, full of motivation to do a lot energaizers, games, workshops and make georgian presentation there :)
In an hour I was already in Nowy Dwor and in the same moment Patricia and Arek, whom about I had heard only before, met me, took me in school to made already presentation about Georgia. We went, the class was full of children, people, who had no idea about Gruzja, where it was and what it was, so I showed them films about Georgia, and then I was opened to listen their questions and answer them, actually they were very much interested, asked a lot about alphabet, about living in Georgia... but more questions were about alcohol :)) how we made wine and vodka etc, I explained how I could, all these complicated things and I think they were quite satisfied :) Then I was taken in my house, where I had to leave during this 5 days, It was so much sweety and nice hoouse, old, but beautiful, when I entered, everything was wooden there, old and in the same time modern, my room was the same, everything wooden but comfortable and great, I felt all the time the smell of wood and old and I love it so much :) First day I was under impressions, the environment where I found myself was really great :)

Only if u have person like "second me" you can imagine how full of emotions was our meeting :) yea, she is my the best friend, we are grown up together and, in Georgia living like in one house, aand the most important, I am her godmother :) yea, it`s not very ussually thing in Georgia, that people in the same age are godmother and goddaughter, but I have 2 goddaughters in my age :) but in Marita`s case was another, I should baptis her sister, younger then me, but I don`t know what happened, in the church I began to sream and cry that I wanted to baptis marita, only her and i didn`t want to baptis her sister and I was screaming so much that they didn`t have any other choise and I baptis marita :) we were 4 years old, so from the childhood we are together, and I`m crazy happy that she is here with me and we can have fun and good time in Poland together :)
I`m sharing her my experience and impressions about Poland, trojmiasto etc :) I know that from the beggining it`s really difficult to integrate in different society, in different people... but we are together and ne ma problemu :) yes, I wanted to write just about this, because this was really important moment in my EVS life :)

Come back to Gdansk

I love the feeling when I come back to Gdansk, It`s like my own home, even sometimes I feel the smell here which is so sweet for me :) Next week I go to another city to some Hufiec and come back on 1st of octomber and I realized that then I will say, only 2 months are left and I have to go back to Georgia... I can`t say that I don`t miss, of course I miss Georgia, Tbilisi, everyone which I have left there, but I have so strange feeling, maybe I`m afraid after this 8 months how my life will continue again there, I really want to stay in Poland and do smth, study or work, because I know the language, I know the people, I have so many friends already, I got used to live alone, independently from my family, responsibility about myself and etc. A lot, really a lot things that I have learnt here and it will be very difficult to go now straight to Georgia, but anyway... maybe I come back here, stay more 1 year and then we will see :) everyday, when I realize things connected with my EVS, I guess how much I have learnt, and how much experience I have for now, just who is wondering, do EVS or not, I want to suggest all of them, don`t think a lot, just do it, but be carefull, search for project and not country, search for, what u wanted to do and what is interesting for u :)

Rainy but beautiful Lublin :)

The last day was really crazy... We decided to visit Lublin, but we had only 3 hours, we couldn`t stay in Lublin, so we had to go there, visit sightseeing and come back till 18:00 to Kazimierz, because there was no bus after this time, so, five of us went to Lublin and as soon as we went from the bus, rain started, of course we are got used rain in Poland, so we continued walking, we saw very beautiful castle, took a lot of picture, then had a small break in one pub in Luiblin and when rain stopped a little bit, visited very beautiful and kind of historical squares, but the old part of Lublin was really amazing, the colours were so beautiful, I liked it a lot :) Then we came back to Kazimierz and packed up our luggage, couse the next day was our depparture to our cities, but we planned to visit each ohter and it will be great :)

Last day of the Mid-term TC and intercultural evenings :)

On 16 of september, it was actually the last working day of our mid-term TC, from the morning trainers again gave us some workshop to do again the city centre, and then we went to walk a little bit by boat it was really cool, we were walking through the whole Kazimierz dolny, beautiful nature and weather too :) I even tried to drive the boat, it was so funny :))
Then we came back to the hotel and began preparation for our intercultural evening, every participant could do some workshop or game or anything he wanted connected to his country. Me and my georgian friend decided to do some georgian learning workshop and then dance our natuinal dance. This evening was full of interesting and in the same time funny things, we learned somethings from every participant, some of us had funny games, and we tried to do our best to make this evening really unforgattable. Georgian time was the last, we wanted to close the evening with dance, so we made first some workshop and let people know what to say when they come to Georgia, some important words like are: "Gamarjoba", "Nakhvamdis", "Mikvarxar", Gamurajos"... and then danced one very famous and national dance "Acharuli", in every georgian dance u can see some story, u can see how women is respected etc... And it was really pleasure for us to tell them one of gerogian story :) but the funniest was when they asked us to learn how to dance, My friend began to teach boys one action how to dance and he was dancing like really Georgian men and the others were reapeating it so much funny, that we couldn`t dance, we were just lauhghing a lot, we even coulnd`t watch on them it was so much funny, then I tought the girls one action too and we tried to dance together, but we had so much fun during it, this day was really unforgattable for everyone :))

More about Mid-Term

This training was really useful for me, actually i think that the trainers were really well-organized, they reminded us step by step what we have done during our EVS, what was wrong, what we wanted to change etc... Of course all of us have thought about this earlier, but now we were thinking and realizing in different way. Then we were sharing to each other and we saw that some of us had some difficulties during his EVS, some not, and it was really interesting to listen and understand what kind of problems u can meet during EVS and how u have to behave in such situations...
One was really very interesting workshop with frames. The trainers gave us frames made by papers and told us to take pictures with these frames, pictures should be about our EVS, how we see our EVS. First we were confused, didn`t understand very much the tasks, but when we began working, it was really very funny and interesting, every little thing was remembering us smth about EVS, even I took pictures of Traffic lights and trash bin, because even these little things, whivh made kind of cultural shock was very important for me :)
And I realized by myself how much important are these trainings during EVS, especially last one, mid-term, for me it was kind of psychological preperation that EVS is finishing and u have come back to ur country and think more about how u will use this experience which EVS has given to u :)

First impressions about Kazimierz Dolny

Nine hours on the way with train, full of people, and a lot of noise... So, the way to Kazimierz dolny wasn`t very much comfortable, although it was a little bit better when I met another EVS volunteers from half oh the way, so it has become more interesting :) we shared information and EVS experience during the way, and so the time went faster when we were together, and talking a lot :)

At last we went to Kazimierz dolny, it was really very small and beautiful place, like village, but comfortable and sweet place, really. City centre, little and full of people, some men with guitar singing some song, some people are selling souvenirs, there was like a big family, everyone knows each other, everyone says "czesc", and really warm atmosphere. And our hotel was on a hill, the same, quite place, surrounded by nature, and really comfortable one :)
Firt day was just for arrival and have a rest, we met everyone each other, the trainers too, we were 14 people, I already knew 4 of them from my on-arrival training, we made one session with trainers to make the other days program, what we are interested in and what we wanted to understand etc... So first day was "light", we really needed to have a rest, so we slept early :)

Costa - Brava

Costa - Brava was the most beautiful place that we have seen in Spain, it was another beauty, mountain, sea, island, everything together and full of people, from different countires, but the most funny was how we went there :)
We decided to go there by autostop :) 4 girls with sleeping bags prepared, wrote on big paper "Costa - Brava" and on the road were waiting for some cars who were going on the same way :)
First, we thought it was hard, but max 20 minutes and the drivers were stopping and tooking us, I have to be honest, most of them were males, but anyway all of them were so much polite and we felt ourselves so much comfortable and good, but from the beggining everyone was saying, 4 girls, it`s impossible, noone will carry u, but we did it, in about 5 - 6 hours we were in Roses, and the last driver, French men, he was so kind, he had another way but for us he changed the plans and took us in Roses,2 hours he was driving for us, I think we`ll never forget him, and he said, just he wants that we had good stereotype about french people.
Roses - it`s one of the beautiful city in Costa - Brava, but we wanted to reach the place named "Cadaques", becaue "Costa - Brava" is famous with this resort, but first day we stopped in Roses, enjoyed with beautiful weather, sea, surroundigs and our meal :) yea, we slept on the beach with our sleeping bags, it was so nice, in the morning to wake up at about 7 o`clock and the cleanest sea, sound of birds, noone on the beach, just we_sleeping there somewhere :)) In Roses mostly there are French people, most of them has rest-homes there and on every season are resting there, it`s very beautiful city with good people :) but we had another day - another plan - "Cadaques" :)

Khinkali and Georgian evening in Barcelona :)

We gathered 5 georgians in Barcelona, so we decided to make Georgian evening with georgian dishes and invite our friends :) and also Pati ( one of our georgian friend) was leaving... so we decided to make also good-bye party for her and made our favourite one, which is the most national - Khinkali, it looks like this :)
It took long time to make it, as always, but it`s so tasty and we all missed it so muuch, it was great :) it has inside meat and it is put in flour, but is needs special form, usually in Georgia we don`t do it, it is done in our families very often by our parents, or we eat in some special places, but now there aren`t our parents and speial places, because we are abroad,so we had to make it ourselves :) bur my mam is so happy that at last I`ve begun coocking smth :)
Yea, it was pleasure for me to do this and I ate a lot :P we drank also georgian drinks, sang and danced a little bit, so we had "little Georgia there :)

Gaudy Style in Barcelona

Three weeks in Barcelona, it was the crazyest and most wonderfull days in my life, there are so many beautiful places to visit, so many things to see and feel, but the most great is the emotion when u just walk in the street, the people are so much full of positive emotions, In the main street La Rambla u can see a lot of different style of people, it`s very long and the most famous street in Barcelona, some people are standing like sculptures the whole day and if u will come closer only then u can realize that they are real persons and sometimes they are "dangerous" too :)) some of them are just dancing in the streets, singing and doing whatever they want...
Everyday we were trying to visit different wonderful places of Barcelona, we were in Gaudy park, park Labirinte, which is very famous and all the time full of turists, u can find a lot of people there all the time, Gaudy style is very popular in the whole Barcelona, there are also muzeums, which is called Gaudy Houses, where is everything in style of gaudi, and I like it so much,, because u can find everything colourful there, and so beautisul :)

BARCELONA - the most unforgattable days in my life :)

When I speak about the days of Barcelona, it seems like a dream, so long time I had been preparing for this trip, to meet my best friends - SaTaQa, and have unforgattable time in Barca, and let`s it, this dream has come true, at last :) The weather was wonderfull, about 30 or more degrees, first days I had a shok, first, meeting with my friends, whom I haven`t seen so long time and then we were together in Barcelona, in this one of the crazyest city, where u can hear only Fiesta, Fiesta, nothing more, no one works or study, just have a fun and u feel so free, so great, u see everything in colourful colours :) wonderful weather, sea, crazy people arround u, the most comfortable atmosphere and just enjoy! :)

I have heard a lot about hel, that it`s very beautiful place etc... So, I, with my EVS volunteer friends decided that it`s good time to go and visit this place, it was so nice and beautiful really, we had reaaly fun there, we met some oher people, some foreigners too, then went to have sunbuthe, played a lot, laughed a lot, ate a lot, and in the end, without any energy came back home :)

yeas, I think that every person, who visits Gdansk, especially in summer time, should see that place :) and have a good time :)

Slupsk :)

Visit to Slusk discovered enough long way, 2 hours and a half on the way, but I slept good there :) I met very nice people, very nice children, and watched with them some cartoon in the cinema, then we went to the office, had a little bit rest and then I made for these children some English learning workshop, but I wanted that to make it informational and funny too, so we played somethings, and with games learnt english alphabet and some important words in english, which will be usefull for them :) Time after time I discovered that work with children gives me a big stimulus, even I was thinking maybe in Georgia I`ll continue somehow this, I like so much when I see their hopefully and sunny eyes when we play, it`s so nice when I fel how they like me and how we are becoming friends, and it`s really so sweety for m to have such little and lovely friends :)
Unfortunatelly I didn`t have more time to visit and see smth in Slupsk but I have enough reason now to go there another time, actually children told me somethings about Slupsk, what is interesting there and why u should visit Slupsk, so in afternoon I left from Slupsk and came back to my Gdansk :) but for sure I`l go there another time :)

Visit in Tczew

On-arrival training was really a good chance to travell all over the poland, because we, all volunteers, planned to visit each other and most of us are from different cities of poland, so from the next weekend from coming back to Gdansk we began to visit each other, me and one of the "Caritas" volunteer decided to visit Tczew, I knew that it was enough small city, but I really didn`t know that it was so beautiful, and so historical too, I have seen the huge bridge and as far as I understand it is one of the biggest bridge in the whole Europe, and also there is so quite everywhere, u can feel everywhere it :) We walked a little bit,we were in some parks, we saw the very beautiful river near this bridge and enjoying :) It was enough good weather, about 30 degrees, that I missed so much (Georgia is so warm country and I really missed hot weather) so we decided to have a bit sunbathe even and in the evening we went to have fun, in some pubs in Tczew :) I was only one day and a half there but I really enjoyed and hope to go there other time too :)

On-Arrival TC in Warszawa

During 21-26 if june I visited Warszawa, the capital of Poland, we had on-arrival TC, that means that we`ve received all useful information about EVS what is needed to know especially in beggining of EVS, it`s about accomondation, financial staffs, about work hours etc... we had two treiners, and the treining was held in two langueges-polish and english, so it helped us more to understand polish language :) it was great chance to meet EVS volunteers spread in whole Poland, we planned some trips together, visiting each other and of course to have a great time together :)
Nowadays football is very popular and so we decided to play football even during session with treiners, we were watching the matches together with treiners and in the evenings visited some nice places of Warszawa. But the most beautiful place that I have seen in Warszawa was the old town, it was just amazing for me, very beautiful, colourfull and different from the new town, some historical places and muzems, everyone who visits Warszawa, should visit the old town (my suggestion). During TC one of our participant had birthday party, so we, EVS volunteers decided to make surprise and at 00:00 we made for her party, sang happy Birthday, we did ourselves Huge Paper cake (because it was too late to bye smth and we decided to do it very late) and gave her some prezents, it was very funny and of course, everything that we did together, helped us to make close to each other :)
So, Trip to warszawa was very succesful and useful for me, I have a lot of friends now, EVS volunteers and we keep in touch and hope we wll have interesting summer :)

English Lessons

So, to say the truth, from the first meeting with these young people, I had a great wish to work with them and do something useful for them, so I was very happy when one day form another building of OHP called us someone and asked that some people are interested in learning english language and if I could help...
Of course I said "yes" and from the next week I went their to meet these people, they are really so cute, nice and sweet, we`ve become friends and I worked out such method, which was more easy and funny for them, we are singing, dancing, playing suring lessons and with this way learning english, new words, important words.
I help them doing homework, I play with them some games, I prepare beforehand some funny things to make funny lessons and the most important is that I feel they feel good, they are happy, they didn`t miss even one lesson and all the time I`m on good mood when I go there and meet them, because It`s really productive for me when I see I do something important for them, I have learnt a lot of polish words from them and sometimes it`s very funny when I`m explaining something and they can`t understand or oposite, then we use body language, dictionary and the result is that they know new english words and I-Polish :)

I stood up at 5:30 and it`s so unusual for me that I needed about 2 hours to awake :) Buut, Bytow discovered so beatiful that I was absolutuly woken up very soon :) Me and my dear friend Beata went to bytow for some exibition about very interesting things, u could receive a lot of information there about companies, schools, who are trying to help people find a job, it`s so nice for me to see how they help young people to be more motivated, to do something very good and not to be without job any more... And of course more nice was to see that these youth were really interested and searching something useful for them. I want to say thank u again to all the people for hospitallity, who organized this , maybe I`m a little but egoist, but I have to be honest and say that it`s so great feeling for me, when everyone is so opened with me, smiling and honestly says all the time "welcome to Poland", even on this exibition a lot of people whom I didn`t know before hosted me very warm and mentioned that volunteer from Georgia is with us etc... :)

I already began thinking it will be so difficult to leave Poland :( But I still have a lot of time :)
I`m talking about my emotions so long that sometimes I`m forgotting what about I`m writing :)) I liked this old historical castle so much, it was amazing, I
visited the muzeum and during going-over it I felt myself in the previous centuries :) Beata helped me to understand everything better, I heard a lot of information about history from her, because in this Museum was a lot of old, historical and beatiful things, we were even almost lost in it but thanks god we found out the way :)

During "being in previous centuries" young people were fishing and everyone was trying ro be the first, because there were some presents for winners :)
of course, winner was the only one, but actually all of them were luckies because all they received some presents ( In next time I`ll paricipate in it for sure:) ) then we had very tasty dinner in Bytow and went back to home :) I could see that youth were very happy and full of emotions and it`s so nice, time after time I have more wish to be closer with them and help as much as I can.
So, I was very tired in the end of the day and went to sleep, but full of positive emotions and energy :)

P.S. I miss my mentor very much :( he broke his leg and now I`m trying to be his mentor as much as I could :)

"Earth Day" and my Birthday :)

Actually I wrote this post on 30 of april but I`m writing a little bit later, so today is my birthday  22 years, still young yea? :P
But I had more important mission on this day then to think about my birthday  I was a little bit late at office and My mentor was so “angry” that he forgot about my birthday and was going go send me back to Georgia ) But then suddenly I saw him and Beata ( our friend) with cake in his hands and candles 22  surprise  I made a wish  thanks a lot again my dear friends 

So, today I had to meet youth (like I met yesterday) and make presentation of Georgia for them and again worrying. (not very much ) Beata helped me to communicate with them, and during the presentation I was looking on their faces very carefully, I wanted to read something on their faces, emmocians, impressions… They stopped me several times and were asking some questions about Georgian dances, dishes, singing, what they had seen in presentation and I really saw that they were interested and even asked me to learn them these dances and make together "khinkali". I was just happy :)
Then we went together on "Earth day", where we took as much papers as we had and reseived plants  there was promotion for this day and we had very funny and nice day 
I was really happy, I was more self-sured in myself and already began thinking what to do the next for this youth  Maybe I`ll try "Khinkali?" or dance lessons? Or something like English learning workshop? Ok, I`ll ask them :P :)
And I had the greatest present for my birthday-bicycle, I was screaming with happiness, again thank u my dear friends, my polish friends :)

Visiting The Theatre Performance Of Young People

To say the truth, I was worrying a little bit, I knew that this youth where I was invited to see the theatre performnce, are different, they are grown up in difficult conditions, they are interested mostly smoking, drinking etc… But in this presentation I`ve seen and understand that this youth needs real motivation to do something useful for them, they just don`t understand why to study, why to learn something from other people, maybe because they don`t think a lot about their future life, or unfortunately they are just agree to take example from their parents… But the main thing for me was that suddenly I felt it was really very interesting for me to work with them, because I`m motivated very much to make something interesting for them, even simple but just make them smiling and show that there are a lot of kind and great thinks to do and let`s do it together!

What is EVS?

Why have u decided to do EVS?

These are the most popular questions when u say: “I`m EVS volunteer…” Actually people, who knows very well what EVS is, don`t ask very often the second question… My EVS voluntary service has already begun; I`m in Gdansk, Poland, and sometimes even now I can`t realize that everything is already ok, because I was waiting for it for about 5-6 months…
Now I`m here, writing short report about my volunteering and day after day my motivation has become deep and deep. Firstly, I want to mention that a lot of things during EVS, especially in the beginning of the project, depends on environment where u are, on people, whom u are surrounded by and I`m so happy that I can archly say “I`m just lucky and I found myself in the group of great people!” I have the best mentor ever! From the first day of my arrival he has just become my friend, helped me to realize better what will be my job at office, with young people, he helped me to communicate easier with local people, with our staff etc…
From the second day I`ve met the Boss and the president of our organization to speak with them about my arrival, accomodation, future plans etc…
Day after day I realized that I like my volunteering more, than I expected, I just love people whith whom I work, I`ve already have first friends, who also help my not to feel myselt alone and to see the sightseeings of Gdansk and polish culture better…
